Helmet Compatible Speaker / Microphone Assembly
The Fusion is a specialty UltraPAK & E-Pak radio accessory that facilitates full duplex, simultaneous talk, hands-free communication for personnel wearing commercial / industrial helmets.
Combining two thin speakers and a noise cancelling microphone the Fusion can either be fitted within foam padding or secured to the interior of the helmet shell with velcro.
Once installed the Fusion connects to Eartec’s UltraPAK & E-Pak full duplex transceiver via a simple robust cable with molded connector.
This combination accommodates crew members that are required to wear helmets that may naturally prohibit the use of traditional headband style headsets.

Available only for Scrambler Push-to-Talk, this lightweight assembly includes a clear flexible coil tube with ear bud speaker replacing traditional headband with ear cup. Eartec UltraLITE wireless headsets have unique internal components depending on their role as either a MAIN or a REMOTE unit. To ensure your add-on or replacement headset syncs perfectly with your existing pattern, an Eartec service technician must verify your system configuration before shipping.
The EVADE series is built for light industrial teams, supporting up to 9 simultaneous users with a 400-yard range. The PRO16 features deluxe padding, extended range, and up to 16 users on a system, and the UltraLITE-HD is a mid-weight pro-audio system widely used in video, film, and theater production. Note that UltraLITE “Classic” and “HD” transceivers operate on different frequencies and are not compatible with one another.
Yes. The XTreme Plug-In headset ($195) is specifically designed for hard hats, featuring an over-the-head velcro strap and steel tension back band. For closed helmets, the Fusion Assembly ($90) installs thin speakers and a noise-canceling mic directly into the helmet padding using velcro.
Yes. Models like the Max4G, EVADE, PRO16, and UltraLITE-HD feature Auto Mute Boom Technology. The microphone assembly contains an internal switch that automatically mutes the mic gain when the boom arm is flipped straight up, and instantly reactivates it when pulled down.
