Wireless Headsets for Wired Intercom
Interface Series
add wireless UltraLITE™ to existing partyline

Full Duplex / Eliminate Floor Cables / Wireless Headsets for Wired Intercom
HUB-INT interface systems are the answer to the age-old problem of how to affordably add wireless headsets to permanently installed wired intercoms including Blackmagic, Clearcom, RTS, Telex, and more.
Eartec has met this challenge by engineering a special software controlled circuit that plugs into the wired party line and a HUB, mini wireless base station repeater.
Dial adjustments directly on the interface module balance the signal levels between the wired system and the HUB creating a seamless audio link.
Up to eight crew utilizing UltraLITE or UltraPAK transceivers can roam freely connected with the wired system just as if they were plugged in by a floor cable.
Operating in the non-licensed DECT band (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology), the HUB Interface series with UltraLITE or UltraPAK is not affected by and will not interfere with other RF equipment such as WiFi or wireless microphones.
To get started with a wireless to wired interface first visit the HUB page and learn all about the outstanding performance features of this compact digital signal relay.
All customized Interface packages includes a HUB along with an Interface module. Finish formulating a customized wireless package by choosing any combination of UltraLITE wireless headsets and/or UltraPak transceivers with discreet lightweight headsets (up to 8) that will connect seamlessly with your wired system. Adding Wireless Headsets for Wired Intercoms has never been easier.

Eartec Interface to UltraLITE-HD FAQ
The Eartec HUB Interface (HUB-INT) is a software-controlled hardware module designed to seamlessly bridge permanently installed wired partyline intercoms with wireless headsets. It allows up to eight wireless crew members to roam freely and communicate in full duplex with an existing wired infrastructure just as if they were connected via a traditional floor cable.
The HUB Interface features universal compatibility with major industry-standard wired systems. It supports both 2-Wire and 4-Wire setups, integrating directly into rack-mounted power consoles or wall jacks from manufacturers including:
Clear-Com
RTS / Telex
Blackmagic Design
A single HUB Interface system supports up to 8 roaming wireless users simultaneously. Audio levels between the wired system and the wireless units are manually balanced using precision adjustment dials located directly on the face of the interface module.
No. The HUB Interface and its connected headsets operate on the non-licensed DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) frequency band. This dedicated binary-coded frequency ensures pristine HD audio performance that will not interfere with, nor be affected by, local Wi-Fi networks, electronic equipment, or wireless microphones on busy production sets.
UltraLITE wireless headsets feature Auto Mute Boom Technology. The microphone boom swivels $270^\circ$ for placement on either the left or right ear; flipping the mic boom straight up to the “UP” position instantly engages the internal mute switch.
Every customized system includes a specialized Multi-Port Charger and rechargeable Lithium-Polymer batteries for both the HUB mini-base station and individual headsets. The charger features independent bays with LED indicators that turn from red to green when a field-replaceable battery reaches full charge.
